"VEST A K-9"
Fundraiser for Pemberton Twp K-9 Unit
Sponsored by: Country Roads Pet Sitting
There is so
much to write about, regarding this upcoming year. I
don't know where to begin!
I guess first of all, we would like to thank all of you
who so generously donated to our
"Vest A K-9" fundraiser.
Michelle and I have been working since September in an
attempt to raise money to purchase bullet proof/stab
proof vests for the Pemberton Police K-9 unit. As you
many remember, we have two police dogs, Bandit and Urgo
who are working hard to protect our community. We feel
it is important to be sure our K-9 dogs as protected
from harm as our human police officers.
Country Roads also raised money by selling products at
our local community events, asking for donations through
our schools, we even received donations from people who
heard about our cause and who "just wanted to help".
Finally, our largest single check donation came from the
Burlington County Kennel Club, who donated our last
$600.00.

This week Michelle and I ordered the vests which will be
shipped to the Pemberton Police Dept. When they arrive
we plan to have a public presentation, which we would
love all our clients to attend. We will keep you posted.
Please feel free to call or email us if you would like
to attend and we will give you details when they become
available. Thanks again for all your support.
Sincerely,
Sheila Clear & Michelle Murphy

Happy Anniversary To Us!
Ok, so now last but certainly not he least, Country
Roads is celebrating our 10th year in business! We are
so excited and want to find some way to thank all of you
who have been with us for so many years and our newest
clients, whom we hope will be with our family for many
years to come.
Michelle and I have toyed with so many ideas on what to
do to celebrate with all of you and then we thought why
not celebrate "with you". To thank all our loyal clients
Country Roads is planning a "family" get together. We
want to have a picnic with you and your dogs at the
freedom Park in Medford. Of course those of you with
kitties only are also invited.
Freedom Park is located off Rt 70 in Medford and has a
large dog park. We were introduced to the park by
one
of our clients. Our dogs absolutely love to play there.
We plan to pick a weekend in May and would like to have
an anniversary party / picnic which we hope all of you
can attend. Details will be coming in the near future.
