"VEST A K-9"
Fundraiser for Pemberton Twp K-9 Unit
Sponsored by: Country Roads Pet Sitting

Left is a picture of Bandit, a 10 month old Belgian
Mali-nois and his human partner, Ptl. Justin Kreig. They
are both part of the Pemberton Township K-9 Unit. The
picture on the right is of Ptl. Robert Ettinger and his
K-9 partner Urgo who is a Mali-nois/Dutch Shepherd mix.
Both dogs have been trained at Absolute Control Training
facility in Southhampton by former police officer Perry
Parks, to become part of the Pemberton Twp Police
Department.
Along with their human partners, these brave dogs will
lay their lives on the line each day they work
protecting our community. Yet each day they are out
there, they will go unprotected, without our help. Their
human partners will wear bullet proof/stab proof vests,
although unlike their human partners, our furry officers
do not have that option. Although the police dogs will
most likely be the first ones to enter the most
dangerous situations, they do not have the bullet
proof/stab proof vests to protect them.
Because of our concern to protect these dogs, Country
Roads Pet Sitting is sponsoring a fundraiser we have
named "Vest a K-9", in hopes of raising money to buy
both Urgo and Bandit the bullet proof/stab proof vests
they deserve. The cost of each vest is between
$800-$1000, but can help protect the life of a wonderful
dog protecting our community.
If you would like to help with your monetary donations,
please make checks payable to Country Roads Pet Sitting,
our mailing address is:
44 Kennedy Lane, Pemberton, NJ., 08068.
Thank you so much for your support in our quest to
protect our K-9 dogs from harm.
Sincerely,
Sheila Clear & Michelle Murphy
